One Response to “Totally Excellent Resources”

  1. Hi Greg & Colleagues,
While the Australasian Association of Volunteer Administrators is still developing its services to members, it does offer resources such as a mechanism for VPMs to further promote the profession of volunteer and resource management. It great to see the focus starting to balance between the volunteers themselves and the managers of volunteers.

As a professional Association, AAVA is interested in the:
    – Professional recognition of volunteer managers, paid and unpaid
    - Professional development of people involved in managing volunteer programs
    - Ongoing development of the field of volunteer management.

AAVA is concerned with ‘building the sector’ through support, encouragement and recognition of people involved in leading volunteer programs.

AAVA is also a supporter of the International Volunteer Managers Appreciation Day on 1 November.
    Regards
    Adaire Palmer
    Vice President, AAVA
